The Russian icon collection has been exhibited at many museums, including the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA). The NOMA exhibition was executed by John Keefe, Curator of Decorative Arts at the museum. The opulence and beauty of the exhibition offered museum patrons a refreshing escape from the city's post-Katrina recovery.
Included are rare religious works in brass, copper and enamel from churches, monestaries and private usage. Many are seated in original kiots. A slideshow of images from the exhibition is shown below. Images by Judy Cooper courtesy of the New Orleans Museum of Art.
